Role Summary

As the Senior Analyst reporting to the Senior Director Treasury, you will enhance your knowledge of core Treasury functions, including capital markets, capital structure, pension and investments, and risk management. You will be primarily assisting with front-office activities, including short-term funding, capital markets transactions, management of pension investments, and supporting the hedging of the Company’s financial risk. In addition, working as part of the Treasury Team, you will be responsible for financial modeling, have the opportunity to deliver presentations to senior management, and contribute to various cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

Liquidity Management and Capital Structure Strategy

Direct daily liquidity operations and support strategic capital planning through the execution of multi-currency commercial paper program ($3bn) and excess cash investments, calculate cost of capital metrics, and support preparation of the 5-year financial forecasting model and materials for rating agency engagements, Capital Structure Strategy Committee and Board of Directors including peer benchmarking.

Cash Flow & Interest Expense Forecasting and Optimization

Manage the end-to-end forecasting process by compiling short and medium-term Corporate cash flow projections (~$4bn) and coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual global interest expense (~$300mm) updates with regional treasury, tax, and accounting partners to analyze variances and improve predictive accuracy.

Risk Management

Perform the global month-end FX rate update process, execute Corporate SAP FX hedge requests and hedge documentation, and deliver data-driven trade recommendations and exposure analytics to assess financial statement impacts. Partner in our treasury policy updates, and creation and presentation to the Financial Risk Management Committee on liquidity and capital structure strategy.

Management of US Pension Investments (DB and DC Plans)

Support the operational and fiduciary activities of the US retirement plans by assisting with selection and monitoring of investment managers and trustees, executing asset rebalancing, investment fund due diligence reviews, and ensuring compliance through SOX control management, financial reporting (11-K/Form 5500), and the coordination of external audits and invoice reconciliations.

Treasury Reporting and Process Improvement

Optimize our treasury reporting and operational efficiency by driving process standardization and increased automation while compiling critical data for our 10-K, 10-Q, and Quarterly Treasury Reports and producing the share-of-wallet analytics used to support our key banking relationships and revolver renewal negotiations.
