Compensation:The target hiring range is generally $130,000–$155,000, depending on relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and business needs. This role is eligible for QED's annual performance-based incentive program with a target opportunity of 15% of base salary, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) program.

The FP&A Manager helps QED Technologies Rochester (QTR) make sound, well-informed financial decisions by leading forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and cash flow visibility across the business.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this individual-contributor role partners closely with senior management and functional leaders to understand business performance, identify trends and opportunities, and translate financial data into clear, actionable insight. You will own the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, maintain a rolling 26-week cash flow forecast, and lead long-range financial planning that supports QTR's strategic objectives. The role also carries responsibility for risk management, insurance programs, and customer letters of credit and bank guarantees.

This is more than a reporting role. The successful candidate will bring strong financial judgment, analytical rigor, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders. You will be comfortable balancing recurring deadlines with ad hoc analysis, working independently across multiple priorities, and building the models, dashboards, and KPIs that help QTR run its business with confidence.

• Lead the monthly forecasting process, including revenue, expenses, cash flow, and key operating metrics.
• Own the annual budgeting and planning process, partnering with business leaders to develop realistic, data-driven financial plans.
• Lead the long-range financial planning process, developing multi-year financial models and forecasts that align with the company's strategic objectives, evaluate growth opportunities, and provide senior management with insights to support long-term business decisions.
• Maintain a rolling 26-week cash flow forecast, providing visibility into liquidity, working capital, and near-term cash requirements.

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance.
