This position requires coverage of Monday & Thursday evening shifts (5:00 PM–9:00 PM) and every other Saturday (9:00 AM–1:00 PM). Additional shifts may be available as coverage is needed.

• Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
• Manage staff pharmacists and technicians, motivating, inspiring, and developing the pharmacy staff to maximize strengths and address knowledge gaps.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
• Keep abreast of HIPAA and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse credentialing and comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Ensure that the pharmacy and its employees are compliant with federal, state, local laws and local facilities policies.

• Bachelor of Science or Pharm
  
  D in Pharmacy from an accredited university.
• Required licensing and credentialing as established by federal and state regulations in the state in which you are practicing.
• Previous management experience in a retail pharmacy setting (340b knowledge is a bonus but not required).
• Immunization certification is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and exceptional patient service skills.

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Fine motor skills – repetitive hand motions via keyboard/phone.
• Ability to hear, write, and speak effectively.
