Lead Senior Companion

Touching Hearts at Home is a nationally recognized in‑home companion care provider serving seniors in Rochester and the Finger Lakes. Our mission is to help older adults live safely, comfortably, and independently at home—with dignity, respect, and a caring touch. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and customer‑focused Lead Senior Companion to provide reliable backup coverage and ensure uninterrupted care for our senior clients.

Ideal candidates are dependable, communicate well, and have a strong customer‑service mindset. Caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred, including personal or professional experience such as HHA, PCA, CNA, LPN, or similar roles.

• Provide meaningful companionship and direct care to seniors as needed
• Assist with transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation
• Offer gentle reminders for medications, hydration, and daily routines
• Ensure client safety through supervision and fall‑prevention support
• Step in to cover caregiver call‑offs to ensure continuity of care
• Support caregivers in the field and serve as a resource when issues arise
• Support scheduling coordination, administrative tasks, and community events as needed
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
• Guaranteed 40 hours/week (80 hours bi‑weekly)
• Standby Days:
  Monday–Friday or Wednesday–Sunday
• Reliable phone and internet access
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to travel up to 40 miles

• Competitive Pay: $20–$22/hour
