RadiologicTechnologist Job Details
- Location: Rochester, NY 14642 – Access to premier New York healthcare jobs, urban amenities, and outdoor recreation near Lake Ontario.
- Assignment Type: Travel Contract – Interventional Radiology
- Duration: 13 weeks (February 23, 2026 – May 23, 2026)
- Schedule: 5 day shifts per week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2580 - $2770
- On-call/Callback/Holiday: As required by the hospital unit
- Open Positions: 3 Radiologic Technologist jobs available
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist;
Interventional Radiology experience preferred - Active New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist License or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- VIR (Vascular Interventional Radiology) Certification preferred
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Interventional Radiology, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety
- Prepare and instruct patients for radiologic examinations; assist Radiologists during interventional procedures
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology equipment; promptly report malfunctions
- Efficiently complete assigned procedures, support room turnover, and provide clinical support to the department
- Maintain strict medication security and patient confidentiality per hospital and healthcare regulations
- Utilize Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS for accurate documentation and workflow management
- Participate in hospital performance improvement initiatives and uphold professional communication standards
- Deliver compassionate, respectful care to patients of all ages in a clinical setting
