  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030-$2190
  • Shift: Weekend Days (Saturday & Sunday, 6:30am–7:00pm)
  • Shifts per Week: 2 shifts per week, each 12 hours long
  • Orientation: Full-time (40 hours/week) for first 2 weeks, then solo weekend MRI technologist shifts

  • Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
MRI Technologist Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging, radiology, or related field
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
  • Experience operating GE or Siemens MRI scanners
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred; must be willing to obtain if not already certified
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical support procedures
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and provide patient care support
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment efficiently and safely in a hospital diagnostic imaging environment
  • Perform non-contrast MRI exams, routine musculoskeletal (MSK), neuro, spine, and occasional body MRI scans
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
  • Clearly explain MRI procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic imaging results
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant MRI scanning facility
  • Accurately document all imaging procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Assist with patient care and clinical support tasks as needed
