Position: Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse - $2,988 per week

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour shifts with days/nights rotation schedule

• Every other weekend requirement

• Must be available for some holidays

• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med Surg patients

• Care for 26-bed unit primarily serving CHF patients, acute MI's, post device care (pacemakers) and patients with arrhythmias

• Floating to other units is required

• Must have New York license in hand - no exceptions

• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement

• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Must live more than 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted)

• First time travelers accepted

• Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring and emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams

• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills including peripheral line care and management

• Respiratory care including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management

• Must follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols

• Scrub colors: any combination of navy and white

• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours, total may reach 10 hours)
