Interventional Radiology Neuro Rad Tech - Specialty:
Interventional Radiology / Neuro - Call: 1-2 times/week and 1-2 weekends/month

- BLS
- American Heart Association only - Minimum 2 years of experience
- Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- Candidates from other radiology modalities may be considered; the unit typically provides up to 6 months of Neuro IR training
- Perform diagnostic-quality radiographic imaging using appropriate exposure factors and positioning.
- Prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations.
- Operate X-ray, CR, and DR systems.
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions.
- Use HIS, RIS, and PACS for documentation and information management.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and medication security.
- Provide care to patients across all age groups.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Maintain effective communication with physicians, staff, patients, and hospital personnel.
