About the job Senior Compensation Analyst
Remote or Hybrid to Rochester, NY
The Senior Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our organization's compensation programs. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of job architecture framework, including job leveling, career paths, and internal equity assessments. Including responsibility for analyzing market trends, designing and evaluating compensation structures, and providing valuable insights to help attract, retain, and motivate our employees.
Works collaboratively with key stakeholders, including HR, finance, and business leaders, to ensure that our compensation strategy aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive job architecture framework aligned with business objectives and industry best practices. Lead the design and creation of new job roles and job descriptions based on organizational needs and market trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement job architecture initiatives and ensure alignment with overall HR and business strategies.
- Act as a subject matter expert on compensation matters, including job evaluations, salary recommendations, and promotions, serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and HR partners. Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to develop compelling job offers that are competitive and fair.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to develop and implement effective compensation strategies that align with organizational goals. Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management regarding compensation-related initiatives.
- Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to assess the competitiveness of the organization's compensation packages and are aligned with industry standards
- Monitor and respond to changes in legislation and regulations that impact compensation practices. Provide guidance and expertise on regulatory compliance and best practices related to compensation.
- Lead the annual salary review process, including creating salary structures, conducting benchmarking studies, and recommending adjustments as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline - Preferred
- 2 years of experience in Project management experience.
- 5 years of experience in Compensation analysis, design, and implementation, preferably in a large organization.
