The Senior HR Generalist – Business Partner provides day‑to‑day HR operational support while partnering with business leaders on talent, performance, and organizational initiatives within a product development and manufacturing environment. This role serves as the primary HR presence for the facility, supporting employees and leaders across the full employee lifecycle.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Employee Relations- Partner with employees and managers to proactively address employee relations matters.
- Conduct interviews, inquiries, investigations, exit interviews, and focus groups.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement practices.
- Advise, guide, and execute actions aligned with company performance management and compensation processes.
- Support leaders through performance reviews, feedback cycles, and development planning.
- Identify opportunities for leader and management development using a structured approach.
- Facilitate development plans and actions for key talent.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement training and development programs.
- Manager onboarding and orientation processes.
- Support immigration, unemployment claims, benefits administration, and leave of absence management.
- Maintain accurate employee documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
- Facilitate completion of required compliance training.
- Utilize Workday
, engagement survey data, and manual tracking to assess talent metrics. - Communicate trends and implement data‑driven actions.
- Partner with HR colleagues to implement global HR programs.
- Participate in and/or lead HR projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of HR experience
- HR experience supporting a manufacturing facility
- Strong employee relations and HR operations expertise
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Organized, results‑oriented approach
- Higher education or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP/S forest)
- Experience with Workday HRIS
- Demonstrated experience partnering with COEs and cross‑functional teams
- Ability in coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, team building, and influencing
- Experience with HR data reporting, analysis, and presentations
