Solu Technology Partners is seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Architect to support one of our valued clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing a modern SharePoint Online environment, while ensuring seamless integration with related Microsoft 365 and cloud-based technologies. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions.

Develop and manage the overall architecture of the SharePoint environment to meet organizational requirements and align with industry best practices.

Provide expert guidance on SharePoint Online design, governance, and architectural standards.

Lead the deployment of SharePoint Online solutions, including migration from on-premises SharePoint environments.

Oversee configuration, customization, and rollout of SharePoint features and applications.

Integrate SharePoint Online with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, and third-party applications to support seamless workflows and business processes.

Ensure interoperability and alignment across cloud technologies within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Implement and manage security controls and compliance standards for SharePoint Online.

Partner with security teams to ensure solutions adhere to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and cloud governance frameworks.

Monitor system performance and health, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance reliability, scalability, and availability.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues impacting performance or user experience.

Work closely with IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to understand requirements and deliver integrated, user-friendly solutions.

Act as a trusted advisor to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, architectural diagrams, processes, and operational procedures.

Deliver training, guidance, and support to IT staff and end users.

Stay current with emerging SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and cloud technologies.

Proactively recommend improvements, enhancements, and automation opportunities to drive continuous modernization.

7+ years of experience in SharePoint architecture and deployment, with an emphasis on SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.

Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly SharePoint Online and Microsoft Azure.

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

Proficiency in Power Shell scripting and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.

Hands‑on experience with SharePoint migration tools and methodologies.

Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university.

Minimum of 7 years of IT experience
, including at least 4 years in a SharePoint Architect or comparable role.

Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-600, MS-700) are preferred but not required.
