Rochester, NY (Hybrid / Field-Based – Regional Travel)

Position Summary:

Team is seeking a driven, consultative Sales Executive to grow revenue across IT and security solution offerings. This role is ideal for a hunter‑minded sales professional who thrives in solution selling, can navigate complex client needs, and enjoys owning the full sales cycle from first conversation to close.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and inbound leads
  • Conduct discovery calls and on‑site assessments to understand client environments, risks, and business objectives
  • Develop and present tailored proposals for IT services, cybersecurity, and physical security solutions
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle: pipeline development, quoting, negotiation, closing, and forecasting
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams on solution design and pre‑sales support
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

Required Qualifications:

  • B2B sales experience (technology, IT services, security systems, or managed services preferred)
  • Proven success in consultative, solution‑based selling
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly self‑motivated with strong time management and follow‑through
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling IT services, cybersecurity, managed services, access control, or video surveillance solutions
  • Familiarity with MSP, VAR, or systems integrator environments
  • Existing regional business relationships or book of business
  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
