Associate Attorney - Insurance Recovery

A law firm seeks an ambitious attorney with one to five years of experience to join its Insurance Recovery, Counseling & Litigation team in Rochester, New York. The practice is nationwide, assisting policyholder clients in resolving complex insurance coverage disputes and maximizing recoveries.

• Resolve complex insurance coverage disputes.
• Secure carrier participation in defense and settlement of claims.
• Advise on a wide range of insurance coverage issues.
• Conduct analytical work with training and guidance.

• 1-5 years of legal experience.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience with insurance policies and coverage issues preferred.
• Litigation and/or corporate transactional work is a plus.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Admitted to practice law in New York.

• Effective analytical and writing skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
