Supply Chain Manager

Overview

The Supply Chain Manager is a key leader at OLEDWorks who will be responsible for coordinating the procurement, planning, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and logistics activities that support our Rochester operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials, supplies, and equipment are available when needed while maintaining efficient inventory levels and strong supplier relationships.

This position works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Accounting, and external suppliers to support production schedules and customer requirements. The Supply Chain Manager will focus on continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation while helping drive the success of our growing business.

What You'll Do Every Day

Each day, you and the team will work to ensure materials and products move efficiently throughout the organization. You will oversee purchasing activities, monitor inventory levels, coordinate shipments, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved.

You will manage procurement activities for production materials, maintenance supplies, facility purchases, and capital equipment. You will analyze inventory trends, track supplier performance, monitor order status, and help resolve material shortages that could impact production schedules. You will also work within our ERP system to maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier information.

You will play a hands-on role in shipping and receiving operations, including coordinating domestic and international shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with applicable shipping requirements. You will also support customer order fulfillment activities and work closely with internal teams to meet customer expectations.

Continuous improvement will be an important part of this role. You will identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, strengthen supplier partnerships, and implement solutions that support the company's operational goals. In addition, you may lead or participate in cross-functional and government-funded projects that require strong project management and organizational skills.

Skills You Must Bring

You have at least 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, materials management, or a related manufacturing environment. You understand inventory control principles, supplier management, production planning, and shipping/logistics processes. Experience working in a manufacturing setting is strongly preferred.

You possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable working cross-functionally, building relationships with suppliers, and making data-driven decisions that support operational objectives.

Experience with ERP systems is required, with Epicor experience considered a plus. Knowledge of international shipping processes, freight carriers, and import/export activities is preferred. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and have strong communication skills.

This position is on-site in Rochester and will involve a combination of office and warehouse/manufacturing floor activities. The role may require walking throughout the facility, reviewing inventory, inspecting incoming materials, and supporting shipping and receiving functions. We have a hard-working and collaborative team here, and if you enjoy solving challenges and making a direct impact on operations, consider joining our team today!

OLEDWorks is an equal opportunity organization. We recruit, employ, train, compensate, and promote without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, marital status, disability, protected veteran status, or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
