This role leads a team of project management professionals, aligning business objects and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards. In this role, you’ll partner with leadership, prioritize the team’s work, and ensure deliverables are on-time, relevant, updated, and aligned — ensuring a consistent approach to project management across the organization. In addition to leading a team, this role will also manage highly complex projects that span the enterprise, which can include multiple projects within a program.

What

You’ll Do
  • Manage and develop team of employees, engage in meaningful conversations, build trusted relationships and provide the resources, feedback, and development opportunities they need to be successful
  • Lead a team of project management professionals, ensuring the team builds customer relationships, exhibits ownership of projects, and provides incredible service and high-quality complete solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and objectives; ensuring that projects are in alignment with company strategy and deliver desired outcomes
  • Maintain awareness and supervision of all projects, advising on resource allocation and offering guidance to keep projects on track and meet deadlines; address issues promptly to keep projects on schedule
  • Ensure alignment with project scope and budget; guide team members to develop plans that align with project scope, deliverables and budget requirements; establish quality control processes, ensuring projects adhere to the organizations standards of excellence
  • Provide on-going training, coaching, and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Develop and enforce standardized project management methodologies and best practices across the organization to improve efficiency
  • Encourage clear and open communication among team members and stakeholders to foster collaboration throughout project life cycles
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout successful project delivery
Requirements
  • 3 or more years of project management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across various levels of the organization
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
  • Project Management Software skills (MS Project, MS Planner, MS ADO)
  • Strong knowledge of implementation methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum)
  • Certified PMP:
    Project Management Professional
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience utilizing performance metrics to track progress, improve performance and drive results (velocity, burndown charts)
  • Experience managing and developing others
