The construction of fairlife's manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is underway. This state‑of‑the‑art, 750k sq ft greenfield plant is expected to be operational in late 2025 and will lay the foundation for fairlife's next phase of growth.

Shift Schedule

12 Hour Nights:
This night shift runs 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. The schedule follows a rotating 2‑2‑3 pattern: two days on, two days off, three days on; then two days off, two days on, three days off. Employees work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Shift Differential of $2 per hour.

Job Purpose

Entry‑level position that supports the Quality Department in water testing, raw milk testing, load‑out testing for raw and pasteurized products, finished product testing, microbiological testing, chemical titrations, and work‑in‑process testing. Responsibilities include generating daily reports, data entry, project assistance, filing, and communication with other departments.

Responsibilities
  • Operate lab testing instrumentation correctly, including moisture/solids, protein, fat, and pH tests.
  • Conduct microbiological plating, Foss analytical equipment, pH meter, and other laboratory instrumentation.
  • Operate instrumentation safely, efficiently, and sanitarily.
  • Obtain and maintain NYS Milk Receiver, Appendix N, and/or Phosphatase License if required.
  • Ensure raw milk meets specifications and food safety requirements.
  • Perform testing and documentation of bulk product loadouts.
  • Conduct daily quality line audits, evaluations, and testing on the plant floor.
  • Perform sensory evaluations on finished products if required.
  • Fill out laboratory data worksheets and logs accurately.
  • Maintain confidential records in accordance with the Company Letter of Confidentiality.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and neat work area.
  • Keep area stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Use Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Communicate results to appropriate individuals in a timely, confidential, and professional manner.
  • Prepare solutions and media for laboratory tests.
  • Notify Quality Assurance Manager and supervisors of unusual results or product defects and perform re‑checks for analytical and microbiological tests.
  • Report damage, irregular activity, or unsafe conditions to supervisor or manager.
  • Follow safety, work, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and GLP rules.
  • Verify approved incoming raw milk producers; may require PMO certification for sampling and antibiotic screening.
  • Assist with state and federal screening inspections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
  • College is highly preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency in English: comfortable with written and verbal communication.
Working Conditions &

Physical Requirements
  • 40–45 hours per week with sitting, standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; assistance available.
Food Safety Requirements
  • Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments affecting product quality or food safety.
  • Observe color‑coded container policy while in production areas.
  • Ensure all duties meet Company, Customer, and Government requirements.
  • Initiate action to prevent nonconformities in food safety and quality.
  • Identify and record food safety problems.
  • Control processing or delivery of nonconforming product until corrected.
  • Cover duties with another employee of same skill level during absence.
