CNC Mill Set-up & Operator

Position: CNC Mill Set-up Operator - PART TIME

Sets up and may operate horizontal and vertical CNC mills. Requires only general supervision.

• Job knowledge through suitable education or prior work experience
• Able to read blueprints
• 4th axis experience
• Programming a must
• Know correct speeds and feeds, tooling, design and manufacture of fixtures

• Set up horizontal & vertical CNC mills
• Make proper set-up to give rigidity to work piece
• Work with materials such as cast iron, steel, bronze, brass and other non-ferrous materials
• Hold tolerances of .003 inch
• Manufacture and inspect part to blueprint
• Upkeep daily preventative maintenance log

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
• May be required to stand for long periods of time
• May involve some repetitive motions
• Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions include extreme heat, humidity and cold
