Reporting to the Production Maintenance Manager
, we are currently seeking 4 Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technicians, one D-Shift, one E-Shift, and 2 C shift.
Shift details:
- D-Shift
Hours:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:00am - 11:30pm, 20% shift differential - E-Shift
Hours:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:00pm - 11:30am, 25% shift differential - C-Shift
Hours:
11:00pm - 7:30am, 15% shift differential
Responsibilities include:
- Perform preventative maintenance and set-ups on pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment and systems, following required procedures.
- Provide maintenance support to manufacturing personnel during operation of equipment and systems.
- Diagnose basic problems and perform simple repairs on equipment on which trained; assist Master Mechanics or Senior Mechanics on more complex repairs.
- Work in a supervised environment with a basic mechanical aptitude and limited experience with automated equipment; develop knowledge in processing areas such as liquid packaging lines, solid packaging lines, tablet presses, capsule fillers, and related equipment.
- Set-ups and equipment maintenance to support production schedules; assist with cleaning and disassembly as required by procedures.
- Perform required testing of equipment or systems and document results; maintain logbooks and close work orders with accurate documentation.
- Diagnose problems and determine repairs required; document actions taken.
Required
- Education:
High School Diploma / GED - Experience:
3 or more years in an automated manufacturing environment; training in a skilled trade is desired - Specific skills:
Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and automated equipment; understanding and applying industry standards; familiarity with electrical and pneumatic controls, PLCs, and VSD systems; knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics; basic mechanical aptitude; ability to work with hand tools and fabricate simple components; ability to read technical manuals and documentation; perform mathematical calculations; ability to adhere to planned tasks and schedules; use MP2 computerized maintenance management system (or equivalent)
- Physical requirements:
ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, fumes; climb ladders; 90% standing/10% sitting; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; dexterity for frequent standing, bending, pushing, twisting, kneeling, overhead reaching; operate power equipment; work safely with chemicals, tools, and equipment; wear PPE as required; comply with cGMP dress and hygiene standards; flexibility for overtime and rotating on-call schedules;
carry a phone or pager as required.
Compensation range
: 25.00 - 35.00 USD
The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual salaries/hours will be set within the range based on factors including market data, education, experience, and internal equity.
