Production Line Lead

At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking Production Line Leads to work for a premier printing company in Rochester, NY. With us, it's all about finding an opportunity that works for you!

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00/hr temp to Hire.

Schedule: A Shift (8am to 4:30pm) or B Shift (4pm to 12:30am) Mon-Fri.

Overtime regularly available!

What does a typical day look like for this position? You'll be:

• Overseeing a kit packing production line and monitoring daily output
• Performing start-up and in-process checks using the Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Ensuring team members understand and follow work instructions
• Inspecting first-piece samples (drop test and stack strength test as needed)
• Tracking hourly production rates, crew size, and unit counts
• Managing team workflow, breaks, and performance during the shift
• Working with the Quality team to ensure final product accuracy
• Maintaining a clean and organized production cell throughout the job
• Breaking down the cell post-job and returning tools to proper storage

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have 1–3 years of experience in a production setting
• Have experience in kit packing, packaging, or assembly line operations
• Enjoy leading teams and tracking production performance
• Are detail-oriented and committed to product quality and workplace safety
• Have strong communication and time management skills
• Have a High School Diploma or GED – Associate degree or tech school training a plus
