Quality Inspector

Position: Quality Inspector (3 Years Experience)
ISO 9001:2015 Precision machining manufacturing company seeking a competent Quality Inspector with hands on experience for inspecting tight tolerance production parts.

The candidate should be familiar with performing and documenting first piece, in process and final inspections, determining and reporting non-conformances, maintaining ALL the necessary quality records and documents.

This position emphasizes on quality and customer related records and documentation.

This is a potentially perfect position for a toolmaker looking to expand their talents, knowledge and experience in another direction. The candidate should be a good team player with a minimum of 3-5+ years hand on quality inspection experience in machining manufacturing.

All general inspection equipment including, but not limited to handheld measurement equipment;

* gauges, calipers, micrometers, comparator, GD&T knowledge, CMM highly desirable as well as advance print reading.

Also, must possess a professional manner with good written and verbal communication skills.

* Review schedule, check inspection tools and equipment, review changes, clean and organize inspection areas.

* Incoming Material Inspection.

* First Article Inspection; record results and sign off before production starts.

* In Process Inspection; participate in corrective and preventative actions.

* Final Inspection.
