Pay rate: $18.50 - $20.00 + 12% Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts

1-year contract:
Sept/Oct 2026 – Sept 2027; flexible schedule with overtime as assigned

Work schedule:

  • 1st Shift: Monday
    - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday
    - Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
  • 3rd Shift: Friday
    - Sunday 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Overview

The Operations
- Production Technician performs hand assembly of various electro‑mechanical sub‑systems and components at the Rochester Innovation Center. Operating across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift schedules, this role follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), utilizes hand/power tools, and handles material movement to support manufacturing targets. The technician performs initial troubleshooting to identify system discrepancies, maintains workplace safety under OSHA guidelines, and ensures complete manufacturing documentation.

Specifications
  • Perform manual assembly of sub‑systems and components following SOPs and detailed assembly instructions
  • Operate manual hand tools, power tools, validation equipment, and material handling gear safely
  • Diagnose and perform basic troubleshooting on system, sub‑system, and ancillary component issues during production
  • Complete manufacturing logs, quality documentation, and batch records accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area adhering to environmental health, safety, and OSHA standards
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational education or technical training preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment preferred
  • Strong manual dexterity and proficiency using hand and power tools safely
  • Computer literacy and ability to navigate basic software interfaces
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

  • Shift Selection: Specify candidate shift preference upon submission
  • Work Schedule Flexibility: Candidates must commit to overtime and schedule flexibility driven by production volume.
