Digital Communications Manager

Job Summary

The base salary range for this position is $85,900 to $107,375, depending on experience and location. This role functions as a key player on a high‑impact communications team responsible for creating and executing communications across a variety of channels, with a primary focus on digital communications. The incumbent will lead omni‑channel program creation and production, track tactics, and develop engaging content for Avangrid’s customer communication channels.

• Provides leadership on digital programs and projects for customer communications across Avangrid Networks, including content for alerts, push notifications, web, email, and similar.
• Identifies digital communication opportunities and produces messaging.
• Leads project/program management for outreach and engagement in Avangrid’s New York service area, coordinating stakeholders and reporting.
• Prepares plans and budgets, monitors progress against plans, and reports to senior management.
• Coordinates cross‑functional project teams, holds regular status meetings, and holds members accountable for results.
• Delivers on‑strategy, on‑brand, on‑time, on‑budget results, providing expertise and decision‑making authority.
• Effectively communicates with executives for higher‑level decision making.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, business, or related field with 7 years relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; experience with  and Ziflow is a plus.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, focused on digital communication initiatives.

• Experienced program/project manager with strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels.
