SUMMARY

The Media Investment Specialist is responsible for planning, activating, and executing effective media strategies across the agency’s client base. In this role, they work closely with media partners to buy offline/out‑of‑home (OOH) advertising such as billboards, digital boards, transit shelters, and other transportation placements. They will also manage quality assurance of campaigns on a large scale. The ideal candidate will have experience with campaign management, offline paid media strategy, and have worked across a variety of tactics and formats.

They are comfortable building and maintaining relationships with media partners to identify, negotiate, and activate high‑impact ad placements. This individual possesses knowledge of media trends and has experience executing offline campaigns, preferably in an agency environment.

KEY OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver effective and efficient OOH media campaigns that achieve client objectives and maximize value for small business owner clients.
  • Develop OOH media strategies that service small business owner clients, understanding their products, competitors, target audiences, and growth goals.
  • Issue and manage RFPs to OOH vendors.
  • Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with OOH vendors to secure premium inventory and favorable pricing.
  • Select and recommend specific OOH assets (static and digital) including billboards, transit shelter/station ads, and digital boards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (planning, account services, finance) to ensure successful campaign execution and financial stewardship.
  • Coordinate with operations/vendor teams to ensure ads are posted on schedule, correctly installed, and meet quality standards.
  • Manage Proof of Performance (POP) documentation, ensuring that post‑buy verification is collected, reconciled, and reported.
  • Occasionally place, traffic, and bill radio and other media campaigns.
Deliver insightful campaign analysis and reporting that drives client success and informs continuous optimization across media channels.
  • Craft client communication, and identify new opportunities for client success.
  • Communicate performance nuances, optimizations, and expert insights to internal teams and clients.
  • Analyze campaign data to determine the impact of media results and assist in developing cross‑channel optimization action plans to drive business results.
Demonstrate ongoing professional development and thought leadership by continuously expanding expertise in OOH media and sharing knowledge to elevate team and client success.
  • Stay updated on the latest OOH tactics, placements, applications, and strategies.
  • Help establish channel best practices, partner offerings and effective application in media mix.
  • Stay abreast of policies, regulations, and innovations.
  • Create written communications such as POVs, case studies, white papers, and blog posts.
  • Educate clients as appropriate on offline media best practices and emerging trends to help them understand the value of the services provided.
  • Engage in verbal communications, including representing OOH in client meetings. Demonstrate expertise by assisting senior resources in establishing strategy and training of junior resources.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or required to support the overall success of the team and organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2‑5 years managing and leading campaigns in the biddable space, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proven experience in marketing, with a strong understanding of various marketing channels and biddable tactics.
