Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele Float RN with an active NY license and EPIC experience required.

• Work in a hospital environment on Med/Surg Telemetry units
• Float RN position with required floating to various units as needed
• Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), with option to request four 12-hour shifts
• Patient population includes general medical-surgical and telemetry cases
• Uses Epic electronic medical record system
• First time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Overhire float unit requires flexibility and adaptability
• Up to 3 call-off shifts permitted during the 13 week assignment
• Time off requests must be submitted with initial application

• Active NY RN license currently in hand
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
