Position: Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology
Location: City of Rochester

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care to patients across various surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
  • Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in anesthesiology practices
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Current CRNA certification and state licensure
  • Proven experience in anesthesiology or related nursing roles
  • Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and protocols
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 10 and 12-hour shifts

No call or weekend shifts

No OB, hearts, or liver transplants

Spinals (no blocks)

Trauma experience required

Supervision: 1:2 or 1:3

EMR:
Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid licensing, travel, and expenses
