Stepdown/PCU RN – Registered Nurse
- Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
- Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
- Monitors patients’ responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
- Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
- Monitors and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit.
- Shares on‑call responsibilities with a 30‑minute response time if required.
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
- Transports patients as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited school.
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
- Physical abilities – remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50–100 lbs), push, bend, and pull.
- Interpersonal:
Ability to work with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive demeanor and professional appearance. - Technical:
Ability to push/pull, move, and assist with procedures or operate departmental equipment. - Cognitive:
Capable of managing frequent interactions with the public and customers and meeting deadlines under pressure. - Sensory:
