Part Time (24 hours per week)

Evening/Night (6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.), rotating weekends and holidays

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you are the engine and heart of patient care at Rochester Regional Health. You make a positive difference every day in the lives of our patients, their families, and visitors by going above and beyond to meet their needs with courtesy, kindness, respect, and compassion.

Join our 2 South Med/Surg Unit, an 18‑bed unit specializing in cardiac care and stroke management. Nurses on this unit are experienced in managing vasoactive intravenous medications for heart and stroke patients.

• Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered clinical care.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessment of the patient using appropriate data.
• Communicate and document assessment with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and document individualized plan of care and treatments.
• Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Revise plan of care based on ongoing evaluations.
• Complete at least one Clinical Research Utilization (CRU) form per year.
• Complete a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours (CNE or CEU) per year.
• Complete mandatory in‑services and health screens in a timely manner.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

$38.66 – $51.91 per hour
