Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Rochester, New York or Syracuse, NY

Join our dynamic surgical team in New York as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

This role offers the opportunity to provide anesthesia services in state-of-the-art facilities with a Monday-Friday schedule, no call, and no OB responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Anesthetic Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and plan anesthesia care based on patient needs.
  • Anesthesia Administration: Administer general, regional, local, and sedation anesthesia.
  • Intraoperative Monitoring: Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures.
  • Post-Anesthetic Care: Manage recovery and address pain and nausea.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure anesthesia equipment is properly maintained.
  • Collaboration: Work with surgical and healthcare teams for seamless patient care.
  • Documentation: Accurately record all anesthesia-related information.
  • Patient Education: Explain procedures, risks, and recovery to patients and families.
  • Quality Improvement: Engage in initiatives to improve anesthesia practices.
Qualifications:
  • Active CRNA certification from NBCRNA.
  • Current NY RN license or eligibility.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
  • Preferred: ≥2 years CRNA experience.
  • Proficiency in various anesthetic techniques.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety and best practices.
Schedule & Benefits:
  • Full-time, Monday - Friday
  • No call or OB duties
  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • USD $285,000 - $305,000 base salary
