Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele) Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. The RN will manage patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and post-acute medical care.

• Deliver direct patient care in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care
• Document all care accurately using EPIC

• Active NY State RN license (must be in hand)
• Minimum of 1 year Medical-Surgical or Telemetry experience
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• EPIC charting experience required/preferred
• Ability to manage multiple patients safely and efficiently
• Willingness to float within Med-Surg/Telemetry units

• Typical ratios: 1:4 – 1:6 depending on acuity
• Weekend coverage:
  Every other weekend

Shift: 3x12-Hour Shifts (Days/Nights as required)

Compensation: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
