Position Overview:

Human Edge Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric RN for a travel assignment in the Pediatric Cardiac Care Center (PCCC) at a leading children’s hospital in Rochester, NY. The PCCC is the only pediatric cardiac care center in Western New York, specializing in comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with both acquired and congenital cardiac conditions.
This is a high-acuity unit where nurses care for some of the most complex and rare congenital cardiac disorders, working closely with a multidisciplinary cardiac team.

Days, Evenings, and Nights

• Coverage:
Weekends, holidays, on-call/callback, and charge duties as needed

Hours:

36 hours

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering specialized nursing care to pediatric cardiac patients in ICU setting

• Monitoring and managing high-acuity cardiac conditions

• Collaborating with pediatric cardiologists, surgeons, and advanced practice providers

• Providing education and emotional support to families

• Responding to cardiac emergencies and managing post-op recovery

• Participating in interdisciplinary rounds and individualized patient care planning

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of pediatric nursing experience

• Experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU or Pediatric Cardiac Care required

• Active New York State RN License (must be in hand before start)

• BLS – American Heart Association ONLY

• PALS – American Heart Association ONLY
