Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med-Surg/Telemetry) – New York

Start Date: February 3, 2026
Location: Rochester, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Work at a 528-bed Magnet-recognized acute care teaching facility
• 13-week contract with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• EPIC charting system; experience required
• Cardiac monitoring with dysrhythmia interpretation and emergency response protocols
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Affiliated with nationally recognized healthcare institutions

Requirements:

• Active New York State Single RN license (compact not accepted; must be in hand prior to submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Clinical skills:
  Med-Surg/Telemetry experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV therapy and phlebotomy, peripheral line care, oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Willingness to float within skillset as needed
• Previous charge experience preferred
