Job Description
Day Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week
Title: EP RN – Electrophysiology LabDuration: 13 weeks
Location:
601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule:
Day Shift 3×12-hour shifts — 36 hrs/week
Shift: Primarily Days; some late evenings, holidays &
Call per unit needs
Experience: 2 years required
License:
NY RN License ONLY
Certification:
BLS – AHA ONLY
Required:
Epic experience – REQUIRED
Moderate Sedation: RN must be proficient
Role: Primary RN / Circulator
Responsibilities: Patient assessment, medication/safety review, medication administration, moderate sedation, clinical documentation, patient monitoring, communication & coordination of care
Circulator Duties: Room setup/turnover, obtain/open sterile supplies, pull equipment, maintain fluids/supplies, assist with sterile tables and equipment preparation
Team Coordination: Work with EP physician, Anesthesia, APPs, Charge Nurse, vendors and procedural staff
Preferred: Cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience
Procedures: PFA/RF/Cryo ablations, AF/Aflutter, atrial tach, AVNRT, WPW, pacemakers, ICDs, Sub-Q ICD, leadless PPM, loop recorders, Watchman & Amulet
Device Scrub: Not required
