We are seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses (RN) to join a high-acuity surgical team at a Level 1 Trauma Center
. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of complex surgical cases and advanced procedures, including robotic and transplant surgeries.
Orthopedics, General Surgery, Plastics
Ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, Thoracic
Oral-maxillofacial and trauma cases
Da Vinci robotic systems (2 units)used across specialties
Active transplant program (liver, kidney, heart)High-acuity, fast-paced OR environment
Key Responsibilities:Scrub and circulate in a variety of surgical procedures
Provide direct patient care in the operating room
Maintain sterile field and adhere to aseptic technique
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Respond to on-call and emergent surgical needs
Schedule & Additional Info:Rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
On-call, callback, weekends, and holidays required
Floating based on unit needs
Requirements (Must Have):Active NY State RN License (required)
Minimum 2 years OR experience
Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting preferred
