LPN - Outpatient Clinic

New York, NY

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekends required.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our outpatient nephrology clinic. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong communication skills and adaptability to changing situations. The nurse will be responsible for patient care activities including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and administering injections.

• Room patients and take vital signs
• Administer injections and perform simple dressing changes
• Conduct telephone triage and follow-up phone calls
• Interpret laboratory results and manage medication reconciliations
• Prepare and set up sterile procedure trays
• Perform phlebotomy as needed, along with vaccine administration

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Current NY State RN license required
• Experience with EPIC electronic records preferred
• BLS certification required
