Take on a high-impact travel nursing opportunity with a versatile RN Float Pool team. This role is ideal for an experienced critical care nurse who is confident caring for patients across Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Room settings.
Position Highlights- Profession: RN
- Specialty:
Medical Surgical - Schedule:
3x12-hour night/days shifts - Every other weekend and holiday rotations required
- 2 on-call shifts required per 4-week period
- Must be comfortable floating between Med/Surg, ICU, and ER units
- Must be able to float between multiple locations
- Active NY RN License
- BSN required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care experience
- Critical care experience required
- BLS certification required through American Heart Association or RQI
- ACLS certification required through American Heart Association or RQI
- PALS certification required through American Heart Association or RQI
- NIHSS certification required
- Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Must be comfortable providing care across Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Room settings
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Computer literacy and electronic medical record experience preferred
- Must demonstrate the ability to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
