About the Position

Travel Nurse Source  is working with Talent Burst, Inc. to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Rochester, New York, 14445!

Title: RN – Cardiac Cath/EP
Duration: 13 weeks

Location:

601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642

Schedule:

Night Shift 4×10-hour shifts — 40 hrs/week

• Schedule: 40 hrs/week — 4×10-hour shifts

• Shift: Straight nights

• Weekends: Occasional weekends based on unit needs

• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization & Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area

• Required:

  • Active RN License

  • Telemetry experience

  • BLS

  • ACLS

• Preferred: Recent Cath Lab and EP Lab experience

• Patient Population: CAD, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-procedure preparation and patient assessment

  • Post-procedure recovery and Phase I/II PACU-level care

  • Patient/family education

  • Procedural support

  • Hemodynamic monitoring

  • Moderate-sedation recovery

  • Management of acute and non-acute clinical situations

  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary procedural teams
