Medical Surgical​/Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 18 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/

Experience:

1 recent year of experience in this specialty is required.
2 years of U.S. work experience is required for non-U.S. candidates.

Special Requests:

Current or previous employees must take 12 months off from any University of Rochester Medical Center affiliate as well.

Block schedule may be requested but is not guaranteed.

Unit Details:

Provides direct patient care for orthopedic, urology, ENT, general surgery, and other postoperative patients.

Shift & Scheduling:7P-7A / 7A-7P night/day rotation.
1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
