Schedule:
Preferred 36 hrs/week
4x10 or 3x12 shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM / 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Position Summary & Responsibilities- Provide nursing care in Cath Lab and EP Lab procedural settings
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures (adult & pediatric)
- Monitor hemodynamics, sedation, and patient status pre/intra/post procedure
- Collaborate with CVT/RN team to ensure optimal cardiac outcomes
- Active NY RN License (required)
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab/EP Lab experience
- BLS & ACLS (AHA only)
- Moderate sedation training (required)
- Telemetry & dysrhythmia experience (required)
- Critical care or cardiac nursing experience required
- Must be proficient in:
Right/Left heart cath, PCI, CTO, hemodynamics - Structural heart procedures (PFO, ASD, VSD, valvuloplasty, ASA, CardioMEMS)
- Mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, Impella, IABP, Protek Duo, LVAD)
- Vascular interventions, Angio Vac, Flow Triever, Roto Pro
- RCES or cardiovascular certification preferred
- Familiarity with device/ablation procedures
