Job DescriptionJoin an exciting opportunity as an LPN in the Medical Surgical department in Rochester, NY. This position offers a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM with four shifts per week. With 48 guaranteed hours per week, this role provides stability and a chance to make a meaningful impact. You will work in a complex care unit, handling medicine, orthopedic overflow, and long-term care patients.
Typical patient ratios are 1:5–6, and you may be required to float within your skill set.
Key responsibilities include patient assignments under RN support, blood product administration, central line management, phlebotomy, PICC line care, oxygen administration, trach care, wound care, telemetry monitoring, and utilizing rapid response/code teams. You will be working with surgical drains, pacemakers, heparin protocols, and more. EPIC charting experience is required for this role. The position welcomes first-time travelers and offers flexibility with scheduling requests, including RTO and block scheduling.
