American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift role at a Magnet-recognized teaching hospital, requiring an active NY RN license and NIHSS certification.

• Med/Surg Tele unit with 1:5 patient ratios
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours )
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday coverage required, if needed
• EPIC charting experience required
• Floating required within skillset
• Scrub color: any combination of navy blue and white
• Client may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract without charge

• Active New York Single State RN license required (pending license not accepted)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Experience with nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management
• Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and peripheral line care/management
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE
• Previous travel RN experience required

• Work in a 528-bed Magnet-recognized acute care teaching hospital certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center
• Hospital affiliated with Cleveland Clinic and Roswell Park, offering specialized cardiac, cancer, neuroscience, pediatric, and surgical oncology services
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted for RN positions
• Returning staff must wait 6 months system-wide before reapplying
• Candidates must submit RTO and scheduling requests at the time of consideration
• Up to 10 days of RTO allowed for consideration
