We are seeking a skilled Tree Bucket Operator to safely and efficiently operate an aerial lift (bucket truck) for tree trimming, pruning, and removal. The ideal candidate will have experience in tree care, equipment operation, and a strong commitment to safety.

• Operate a bucket truck to access and trim, prune, or remove trees safely.
• Work at various heights to perform tree maintenance while following industry best practices.
• Assess tree conditions and determine the safest approach for trimming or removal.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, pole saws, and rigging equipment.
• Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are followed on job sites.
• Work closely with climbers and ground crew to complete tasks efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Assist with ground operations, debris cleanup, and equipment maintenance as needed.

• Minimum 1-3 years operating a bucket truck in tree care or a related field.
• Proficiency in operating aerial lifts, chainsaws, and rigging equipment.
• Familiar with ANSI and OSHA safety standards for tree work.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Valid license (CDL preferred).
• ISA Certified Arborist or TCIA credentials (preferred but not required).
• Ability to wear necessary PPE
• Capability to withstand exposure to various weather conditions while completing work assignments
• Proficiency in operating and servicing all required tools and equipment
• Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods due to the dangerous nature of the work

• Ability to lift, move, and maneuver weights of 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Gripping, climbing, balancing, pulling, and pushing
• Climbing on and off trucks
