Veterinarian, Medical Director – Thrive Pet Healthcare

Rochester, NY – Rochester Community Animal Clinic (RCAC)
Lead high‑volume, high‑quality veterinary care at RCAC while partnering with Thrive Pet Healthcare’s national resources. The position is full‑time and offers a signing bonus.
Responsibilities- Drive positive change and growth within the hospital.
- Shape the vision and culture, fostering an exceptional workplace.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient and client care.
- Partner with the practice manager and leadership team to develop strategies and implement improvements.
- Guide the hospital toward excellence in patient and client care and support staff development.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state of employment.
- Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure.

RCAC is a high‑volume, high‑quality spay/neuter and vaccine clinic serving Rochester’s low‑income community and numerous pet rescue‑and‑adoption organizations. The team provides individualized, compassionate, thoughtful care for patients and pet parents. Clinic hours:
Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
