Senior Quality Manager

We’re representing a well‑established and growing food & beverage manufacturer seeking a proven Senior Quality Manager to join their leadership team. This role is responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive quality and food safety strategy that ensures product integrity, regulatory compliance, and consistent operational performance across production. The Senior Quality Manager will lead all quality assurance and food safety programs, guide internal and third‑party audit readiness, and support ongoing process improvement throughout the facility.

• Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of food safety and quality systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Ensure all processes, documentation, and facility practices align with applicable regulatory requirements and established food industry standards.
• Direct root cause investigations for quality issues or nonconformities, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee product quality monitoring, testing, and verification programs to maintain consistency, performance, and product release control.
• Develop and lead training programs focused on sanitation, hygiene, allergen control, handling practices, and quality system expectations.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and other internal partners to support production standards, product trials, and change management.
• Track, analyze, and present key quality and food safety metrics to leadership to support data‑based decision‑making.
• Lead and develop quality, lab, and/or technician teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and communication.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of all quality‑related documentation, including procedures, testing records, and change controls.
• Support internal, customer, and third‑party audit preparation and response efforts.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes while upholding strong food safety and quality standards.
• Provide leadership support across multiple shifts or operational schedules as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related technical field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive quality assurance experience in food and/or beverage manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of food safety systems, quality frameworks, and compliance programs such as HACCP and related industry standards.
• Proven leadership experience managing quality or laboratory teams in a production environment.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to influence and drive cross‑functional alignment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard documentation or quality management software tools.
