Supports the development and maintenance of production quality standards and documentation. Collaborates on continuous improvement activities through problem prevention and mitigation, leads corrective actions through data analysis trending, and supports external audits and the internal audit program.
This includes supporting the definition of quality requirements for new products, preparing and maintaining necessary documentation, monitoring production quality performance to identify opportunities for improvement, and maintaining quality records for compliance with the company's quality system. Additionally, supports customer and regulatory compliance requirements, quality inspections, and audit preparation.
Manages specific customers or serves as the quality representative within an assigned customer focus team or functional area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Participate in root-cause analysis and resolve Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) effectively and timely.
- Collaborate on moderate to complex problems, collect data, establish facts, and contribute to valid conclusions.
- Handle routine tasks and simple investigations with guidance.
- Act as the Quality Representative within an assigned Customer Focus Team or functional area.
- Interact with engineers, technicians, production team members, and external partners to ensure quality standards are met.
- Participate in internal quality and customer meetings.
- Support and communicate with customers effectively.
- Travel as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Up to 4 years of experience in Quality or related roles.
- Preferred experience in electronics manufacturing or related industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Minitab, or similar software.
- Experience with ISO standards (13485 and 9001 preferred).
- Basic knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies and quality tools.
- Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis, APQP, and PPAP.
- Ability to interpret assembly prints and drawings.
- Proficient in English verbal and written communication.
Anticipated starting salary is between $65,000 and $82,000 per year, with eligibility for performance bonuses and benefits. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
