  The lab focuses on the rapid evolution of essential genes and chromosome structures, integrating genetics, genomics, and cytology to uncover the causes and consequences of this phenomenon.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to research projects, including international collaborations
• Draft and revise manuscripts for publication; assist in grant writing
• Develop and pursue independent research directions
• Mentor junior lab members
• Present data at lab meetings and provide regular project updates
• Maintain weekly progress reports on experiments and analysis

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong writing and oral presentation skills
• Demonstrated publication record in relevant fields
