*** Responsibilities:
** Provides direct research and research training support by directing and executing small, complex research projects or major aspects of larger research projects focused on developing integrative physiology as a framework for understanding endocrine disrupting chemical mixtures effects, enhanced effects of chemical and non-chemical stressors and single consitutent effects from complex, whole mixtures, like real-world air pollution. Provide direct advice on scaling translation from spiny mice, lab mice, non-human primates and humans, including metabolic effects associated with toxicant exposures.

These experiments will support research focused on endocrine disrupting chemicals known to alter brain and whole-body metabolism and Fe-heavy air pollution, as iron is a critical co-factor for many metabolic and immunological pathways. These experiments will be critically important to develop new hypotheses on how metabolic effects underlie activity differences.
