Shift Manager

Shift Manager – $17.00–$18.50/hr – Rochester, NY

This position is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the employer for all employment matters and will make all hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Plan each shift, monitor performance, and take action to meet McDonald’s standards.
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for seamless transition.
• Help assigned departments meet their goals and targets during shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience preferred (restaurant, retail, or hospitality).
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.
