Restaurant Server

Overview

Del Monte Hotel Group is looking for an experienced Restaurant Server to ensure a great guest and colleague experience. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits, a supportive environment, and opportunities for professional development.

• Perform opening and closing sidework per checklists.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and drinks.
• Write or memorize orders, relay them to kitchen, and serve courses to guests.
• Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and keep track of meal completion.
• Properly record all sales transactions and secure accurate payment.
• Familiarize and be knowledgeable of current food and beverage offerings.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Restaurant and surrounding areas.
• Inspect fixtures, equipment and conditions for proper operation; report deficiencies.
• Provide information on hotel hours and available services to guests.
• Clear, clean and reset tables as needed.
• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus.
• Schedule dining reservations and handle special guest requests.
• Answer phones following proper telephone standards.

We are looking for a self‑motivated Restaurant Server with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues are essential.

• 3 to 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
