What will I be doing?

As a Server at Peacock Alley, you will deliver exceptional service to guests within the elegant setting surrounding our historic clock in the bustling lobby. The restaurant serves three meals a day and cocktail service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and use their names whenever possible.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently.
• Offer personalized recommendations and create a memorable dining or cocktail experience.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant offerings.
• Take food and beverage orders, input them accurately into the point‑of‑sale system.
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner with the highest presentation standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction during the dining experience and address concerns professionally.
• Serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with all applicable regulations.
• Keep service station stocked with necessary supplies.
• Clear and clean tables during meal service, ensuring seamless transitions.

Rate of Pay

$16.50 – $21.25 per hour (based on applicable experience).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a server, preferably in a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant/lounge setting.
• Ability to engage guests with a genuine sense of interest and remember names and preferences.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Efficient in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for prompt professional responses.
• Valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness certification prior to being offered the position.
• Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
