The Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist responsible for preventing financial loss due to theft and fraud and for supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store or stores. This role uses tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring store physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink-elimination culture in the store.
Responsibilities also include preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist must report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and perform tasks in a way that minimizes risk of injury to themselves, associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.
They should demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates, and stay focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
